Atmosphere over spectacle.
Orquídea is a slower, darker dive than the bright vertical cenotes. The green water closes in as you descend, and the hydrogen sulfide layer and submerged logs set the mood.

Certification is only part of it. Depth alone doesn't make a cenote easy or hard — passage size, light, distance from the entrance and fragile formations matter too.
