The more intimate side of the Chac Mool system. You enter through Little Brother and move between enclosed cavern sections and openings where natural light comes back in, past limestone formations, roots and a natural air dome.

Route character
From enclosed cavern to open light.
Little Brother keeps you closer to the rock. Formations and roots are near enough to read in detail, and the passages ask for steady trim and quiet fins.
The dive moves through transitions: darker cavern sections, then natural-light openings, a halocline where fresh and salt water meet, and an air dome where you can surface inside the cavern.

Certification is only part of it. Depth alone doesn't make a cenote easy or hard — passage size, light, distance from the entrance and fragile formations matter too.
